How did the economic impacts of the Great Depression differ in the United States and in the Soviet Union?

    The reason is because of communism and the Russians were only getting the bare essentials to live off of and the us had people that were happy and the government did not run the US citizens lives. So while the russians were standing in line to get a half of loaf of stale moldy bread for one day US had a better life than the soviets and no one was on the same level like Russia was, so basically no one was rich or poor in Russia they were all poor and the Us had our own seperate private lives.
