In terms of politics, it is more important to be PC especially in today's society.

Now, the answer of this question is very much dependant based on opinion. However, if you look the United States's past, you can see they have never really done anything that is morally right. It was generally about consolidating American power with little care for affected people. It would be cold day in hell until the US does something that upsets and important ally, especially in the Cold War when tensions were very high. During the Cold War, the US would overthrow democratically elected governments and install US-friendly dictatorships for the sake of preventing the spread of communism, even though it was morally wrong and very much goes against the belief that the US is an upholder of democracy. This means that the US Government absolutely cares much more about political correctness over morality. wow this explanation was long
