political views were based off of region

economically the south was struggling to keep up with communication and transportation took days or weeks while in the north it tokk about 2 days for news to spread.

manufacturing happened mostly in the north bc the south was based off of agriculture.

again social life was split into pieces based on beliefs and political views and it still is.
