What inferences can you make about how the stature of the United States

changed on the world stage after the War of 1812?

On the military level, the war began badly for the Americans. The invasion of Canada resulted in a humiliating defeat, and British troops not only repelled the Americans, but persecuted them and came to occupy Washington D. C., burning the Capitol, the White House and other government buildings. Fortunately for them, the naval war was somewhat more successful, including some important victories.

Finally, the British were defeated at Lake Champlain and Fort McHenry, in Baltimore, whose survival after hard and long bombings enervated the national mood.

As positive consequences, we must mention the enormous impulse that gave the national spirit, and the strengthening of American nationalism. Figures such as Andrew Jackson rose to the category of heroes, and the values of American courage and patriotism took root among a proud population of their troops.

On the other hand, it can be said that the US begins to be seen as a new military power, with this Britain loses all hope of recovering its colonies and the rest of the nations see the birth of a new power.

The war that started in 1812 and ended in 1815 was actually due to impressiveness and capturing of the American sea men and the sails-men of the British or the UK. During this time British was fighting Napoleonic Wars for which it captured American sea men take permission to sale to France which Americans so as a threat and declared war joined hands with the France hence had better relations with it after the war. The end of War all the reasons also ended hence the US had no no enemies at the time.
