    During the civil rights movement, there was discrimination on the buses where blacks had to sit in the back and whites had the privilege of sitting in the front. Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white man, which caused her to get arrested. Martin Luther King Jr. heard about Rosa's situation with injustice, and got black people around Montgomery to boycott the bus systems.
