What did Britain do during their invasion of the United States

The war of 1812 was a conflict that was fought between the United States and the United Kingdom. They were supported by their respective allies. The war happened from 1812 to 1815. Right after the outbreak of this military conflict, Britain opted to enforce a "naval blockade" to choke off neutral trade to France. Further the British pressed "American merchant sailors" into the "Royal Navy". Britain also supplied arms to the American Indians who raided the American settlers on the frontier this provoked the Americans.

I believe they either burned down the White House or they captured Fort Mackinac of the Michigan territory.
