The number of working hours of workers in nineteenth century Europe was very variable, and their working conditions very precarious, depending on the activity developed.

Women and children constituted a good part of the workforce at the time of the Industrial Revolution. In the year 1839, half of the British working class was made up of women. At the beginning of the decade of the fifties, it is known that 28% of the population comprised between 10 and 15 years worked.

The days in the factories, or in the mines, were very long (14-16 hours) and in very poor environmental conditions.

Salaries were very low and very tight to meet the basic needs of workers

    Answer:

There were few jobs and were between 14 to 15 hours of working day
