    Wilson's moral diplomacy was aimed at curbing imperialism and spreading democracy. moral diplomacy was based on the idea that creating an international consensus unlike the big stick policy which was aimed at showcasing America's military might so as to project the country's power in order to accomplish humanitarian roles
