    Renaissance was primarily influenced by secular ideas, which can be seen through the main idea of this movement, and that is the revival of Antiquity. Both in art, but also in science.

    Explanation:

    People from Renaissance believed that the period of Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome was the peak of human development. That is why they tried to revive learning and art of that period. Renaissance didn't oppose the church, but didn't agree on some of its principle. Additionally, some famous Renaissance artist and thinkers were quite often supported by the church authorities.
