There are some scholars who would argue that "the Age of Discovery should be renamed the Age of Destruction". Discuss if you agree or disagree with this statement.

    I agree that all discovery necessarily represents a change.

    The change is always for the benefit of the human being so that we have more comfort.

    For example, when areas with natural resources are discovered, they are used to become manufactured resources.

    These resources offer more comfort and quality of life.

    I do not agree with the statement because whenever the discoveries are taken advantage of properly, the destruction is minimal.

    Answer:

    I disagree.

    Provided that the discoveries are properly exploited, there is no destruction.
