The United States consisted of isolationist and interventionist perspectives before joining the war. Explain how these differ from each other.

    Isolationists were those who didn't want to be involved with other nation affairs & focus solely on the US in order to avoid joining the war.

    Interventionists, on the other hand, were in favor of building alliances with other countries, because they believed it would protect US interests.
