    C. To remove the entire system of segregated public education

    Explanation:

During the case of Brown v. Board of Education, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and Thurgood Marshall (head and lawyer of NAACP) worked jointly to fight for the civil rights of African Americans. Their goal was to remove the entire system of segregated public education which had been existed in the U. S. since the 1870s and was inherently unjust because it instilled a sense of inferiority to African Americans and, thus, it violated the 14th Amendment that guarantees all citizens equal protection of the laws.

The "Brown v. Board of Education" case became a landmark civil rights case because it indeed abolished racial segregation in the country.
