The effects of the First World War on Austro-Hungary were primarily their defeat by the Allies, the collapse of the Empire and the emergence of smaller ethnic states. The Ottoman Empire did not already have that power like the previous centuries, primarily after the defeat in the Balkan Wars which took place before the First World War. Austro Hungary is not absorbed in Germany, but with the collapse of the Empire it has been reduced to smaller states, and also due to defeat, and declared guilty together with Germany, the economy has suffered the consequences.
