Why would food rations affect people's perception of their government?

    Food rations mean that one would get their fair share of eatables either in raw or cooked form. These rations are given to different states, cities, communities etc on the basis of their needs.

    When these are given by the government to their people, it automatically gives them a sense of being cared about. Hence they form good opinions about such a government who took care of them in times of need.

    These rations usually consist of sugar, wheat, milk etc.
