    Explanation:

    The role of the legislative branch of government is to makes all laws, control spending and taxing, and among others; while the the executive branch of government which is headed by the president ensures that the laws made by the legislative branch are enforced or obeyed.

    However, some of the ways in which the executive branch can the legislative branch can include proposing legislation in order to make law on a particular issue; calling special sessions of Congress to deliberate and decide on emergency issues; creating annual budget to determine how much revenue is expected and to limit expenditure; and, finally, any legislation can be vetoed by the executive branch without the input of the legislative branch.
