The great depression affected the farmers and African-American equally but farmers started retaliating, they went aggressive towards the authority. While, on the other hand African-American were the lowest in the hierarchy and had no cushion to fall back on could not retaliate or be aggressive towards the authority.

    Explanation:

The great depression effected everyone in the economy, from poorest of the poor to the richest of the rich. No one was saved from the economic loss.

The brunt of the entire situation fell down on the African-Americans. They were forced to leave their jobs. They could not even fight back because no one would listen while the farmers went aggressive and demanded their rights and land back.
