What argument does jones make regarding suffrage and the paying of taxes

    Mrs. Gilbert E. Jones says in the document called: A Woman Assails Women's Suffrage (of 1910), that she does agree that taxation without representation is tyranny. But this is not to be misunderstood, therefore the meaning behind the phrase, according to her, should be as clear as possible.

    In Jones opinion, this phrase was used to talk about how some woman pay taxes yet are not represented.

    In her own words "If this is true without any qualification, it must be true not only of women, but of everybody".
