The Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services both have Offices of Civil Rights.

Both departments work to enforce laws that protect against discrimination based on "race, sex, disability, religion, and national origin."

They do this by filing civil and criminal suits against people and organizations that are suspected of discrimination.
