    Hello, the Louisiana trade, was a large French Colony during the mid 1700s. At the time, The United Kingdom (England) and the French were great rivals and had many wars. The French, then became allies with the native indians in the area and soon went to war with the British. Known as the 7 years war, the British won which resulted in the Louisiana purchase. The French left part of there colony to there ally, Spain.
