    Vietnam war was a communal war between South Vietnam and North Vietnam. South Vietnam was supported by soviet union and North Vietnam was assisted by the USA. It was regarded as a proxy war between the USA and soviet union. Vietcong had a dedicated army but they did not have the asses to the latest technology such as fighter planes, jets, and tanks. They had to use the Guerrilla warfare fighting style where the soldiers avoid the direct conflict with the enemy and use the tactic of attack and run. Vietcong used this fighting style and their knowledge about used the jungles as their hide-out from the American plans and direct conflict.
