The slave Trade had negative impacts on the African nations which resulted in poverty, war, and discrimination.

    Explanation:

The slave trade had many negative effects among other African states, most of these on the long run affected the people of African in a bad way.

It had an impact on African societies that resulted in a long term of poverty across West Africa and other African states, this intensified crises that where visibly seen among rulers, kinship, kingdoms and in the African society.

Due to the negative impact slave trade had with African society it led to increase in war among the people for power tussle or superiority. the main reason for this occurrence is that the American and European slave traders did not go out into the African countries to buy and kidnap their own slaves. Instead, in the coastal kingdoms that is where they bought the slave.

With methods like raids against inland tribes and war, this was how those kingdoms got their slaves from and to sell to the Whites (Europeans and Americans)

The slave trade brought about a negative impact on African societies and led to the long-term impoverishment of West Africa. This intensified effects that were already present amongst its rulers, kinships, kingdoms and in society.

Some societies preyed on others to obtain captives to exchange for firearms. They believed they had to acquire firearms in this way to protect themselves from attack and capture by rivals. Demand for African captives, particularly for the sugar plantations in the Americas, became so great that they could only be acquired by initiating raiding and warfare. Large areas of Africa were devastated and societies disintegrated.
