    To pay of debts from the war Germany printed insane amounts of money. Not taking into account Hyper Inflation. Before The war 1 mark could buy 1 loaf of bread. After the war 1 million marks couldn't buy a single loaf of bread. If your into collecting history memorabilia you can order crazy amounts of german money of ebay for very cheap.
