The two main platforms the republican have are the Republicans favor private conservation efforts the Republicans favor less spending. For example. private school voucher. However, after the Depression in 1932, the public wanted a change of ideas, therefore giving way to another era of Democrats (19321968). Finally from 1968 to the present, neither party has consistently held the presidency. The party opposes abortion and has " traditional values".
