What were the main reasons people supported the Constitution? What were the arguments against it, and how were those arguments countered?

    The immediate reason for creating the constitution was to replace the article of confederation, which contained the following weaknesses. The article creating a unicameral legislature with no executive or judicial branch, hence, no separation of power. the article granted very little power to the central government
