    Explanation:

    The "Law for the Prevention of Progeny with Hereditary Diseases" was proclaimed in July 14th of 1933 and it demanded the forced sterilization of people that had several diseases that were considered hereditary, such as mental illness, physical deformity, epilepsy, blindness, deafness, and alcoholism. More than 300 thousand people were sterilized, most of them were patients of mental hospitals.
