Here are three cons to the Industrial Revolution.

* There was a lot of hard labor and poor work conditions. People were often worked for several hours under very poor conditions. Child labor was also common and children as young as four years old often worked in factories.

* Pollution was also a problem. It impacted the environment and led to a depletion of natural resources.

* Due to poor sanitation and poor hygiene practices, diseases such as cholera and typhus became widespread.

People worked long hours and in dangerous conditions.

An abundance of cheap labor in cities meant that factory workers received low wages.

Only some people became rich.
