    Explanation: The revolutionary war much more than a war for independence because with it the colonists demonstrated that they had autonomy and identity of their own, reasons more than enough not to remain under the yoke and authoritarianism of England for which the patriots represented by the founding fathers of the Nation would fight for that ideal and right that all men are created equal and under that slogan they fought until that yearning that began on April 19, 1775 and that began the American revolution.
