Why were factory conditions so bad at the start of the Industrial Revolution?

    B) Laws were not in place to protect workers.

    Explanation:

    When the Industrial Revolution started factory conditions were so bad because at this time we didn't have laws or rights to have a good space to work on. Today we can have all these rights that every workers receive if they live in a country where exists democracy. All political powers were in bourgeoise hands as you can notice when noble political ideology had fallen as the main voice on the government on what was only aristocratic people.
