You know how they used to not be able to vote and not be able to do practically anything besides serve their masters as maids, or take care of their children until they became exactly what she is? Yeah, that didn't change a lot. Anyways, when the 19th amendment was issued, it gave women a right to vote. (Finally, we had an opinion) The new clothing of the 1920's reflected the changes social values because it represented the new freedom for women. The old restrictions of dress and behavior were being overthrown. Women found their lives changed more in than appearance. They changed from stay at home wives, to workers of many different facilities! Proud of those women. <3
