    When we talk about economic development and urbanization patterns in New Mexico, there is not only one factor, but we can refer to the growth of business, since New Mexico's main economic activities are ranching, farming, oil and gas production, the growth of the business not only affects the rural area but the urban area as well some of them affect in a positive way the economy, and we can add to that the farmers move from their farms to the urban area and they have to come and go to work on their farms, this encourage the growth of the construction in the urban area.
