Why is it important for us to question the dominant narrative (narrative upheld by

those in power) and learn history that acknowledges the experiences of

marginalized groups (those treated as if they were insignificant, those without

power) ?

    "Dominant narrative can be used to describe the lens in which history is told by the perspective of the dominant culture. This term has been described as an "invisible hand" that guides reality and perceived reality.

    Explanation:

    History is all about learning from the past and its mistakes. If you only learn from certian, often manipulated, sources of history then you will not learn from their mistakes. Same with the second part, if you dont learn the history of those marginalized, you wont learn their past.
