working on a farm is hand work but when you work in a factory there is machinery that does the work for you

Factories tend to have more simple jobs, from just grabbing an item to passing it to another person, all the way to just putting a sticker on a can. Farming tends to have more work, and farms usually don't have as big of a workforce, but still a substantial amount. Working at a farm is harder than working at a factory, unless if you were not one of the minimum wage people working there, and you were a program developer or a manager/superviser.
