Japan's actions in Asia reflected the action of many Europeans powers because Japan played the role of Empire in Asia. Because of military and nationalism they wanted to spread across Asia.

Filled with nationalism and militarism, Japan was inspired into ancient myths of the Japanese Empire. They strongly believed that the Emperor was a descendant of the Sun Goddess Amaterasu Omikami and because of that Japan needed to get back everything that Japan lost. They sacrificed their lives to their accomplishments.
