Joseph Walter Jackson (July 26, 1928 - June 27, 2018) was an American talent manager and patriarch of the Jackson family of entertainers that includes his children Michael and Janet. He was inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame as a member of the class of 2014.

Joe Jackson Was raised in a time where blacks didn't get equal rights as whites did Because of this he wanted his children to be icons so they would always be treated correctly sadly the way he taught them was be abusive and lead to the Jackson children not likening him at all
