The Great Basin is the largest desert in the United States. It has the Wasatch Mountains on the east, the Sierra Nevada on the west, and the Snake River Plain to the north. The Great Basin includes most of the state of Nevada, half the state of Utah, and sections of Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon, and California.
