    Kansas - Nebraska Act supported increased power for the state.

    Explanation:

    The Kansas-Nebraska Act was made by the US Congress in the year 1854 on 30th of May. According to this act people staying in these territories that is Kansas and Nebraska were given the right to decide whether they needed slavery or not on that particular territory. Kansas - Nebraska Act lead to the Civil War. There main aim was to open new lands, look after the development purpose and it also focused on the construction of railroads.
