    Answer: Struggling and discomfort

    No. Not yet over.

    Explanation:

In the cause of the situation, many local citizens have evacuated from their place and their entitled compensation have not been given for moving because of the dam. Moreso, much of the money promised by government has been embezzled due to corruption. Though no one knows what kind of long-term impact the dam will have on the environment, but the truth is that many people will probably not be given their compensation in the future because of the prevailing corruption in the land.

The social turmoil is not yet over, due to the fact that the affected citizens who have been displaced were not given as much fertile soil as promised. This will drastically affect many farmers' business and income. That is, they will make less than the initial amount they made in their original homes

There has been landslides due to pressure buildup on the land. The Dam has caused the relocation of over 1.4 million people and the flooding of more than 1,000 towns and villages

Pollution, sludge and landslides have contaminated the reservoir area. Two different fault lines were the water reservoir sits has been blamed for increased seismic activity.

The government had looked on the dam's achievements for many years and they have tried to deal with the internal criticism of the project.
