They had a very different descriptions about life in Virginia. Frethorne was a serveant, in his letter he tells how miserable his life was since he arrived to Virginia, he was not provided with food or elements for a healthy life and he needed to word a lot to find his own food (mostly fruits and vegetables). He also mention that he was treated very bad and he almost didn't get any clothes.

In the other hand Farrer arrived to Virginia later than Freathorne, and in this period the threatment was a lot better, they were provided with several things to have a better quality of life, and hadn't any difficult to get food.
