What are the similarities between MLK's and The Black Panthers ideologies and which demands were more effective?

Martin luther king believed in a peaceful protest and wanted black people to have equal rights. The Black Panthers ideologues are anti-racism and anti-fascism. MLK was more effective because he wanted simple things and Black panthers want more complex things for most americans to cooperate with like les police brutality, full employment, and blacks to be exempt from military. Essentially what they are fighting for is that for black people to basically have more "freedoms", so their wishes are going to be harder to follow through with.
