What were Mussolini's political leanings in his early days?

    Explanation:

    Mussolini was not a hard-lined nationalist and fascists all along. In his youth, Mussolini was actually with political leanings that are the opposite of the nationalism, he was far left wing, or rather he was a socialist. As a young journalist, Mussolini was propagating the socialist doctrines, and that got him in lot of troubles with the Italian officials despite him not even being in the country, but in Switzerland and Austria-Hungary. As he was getting older though, Mussolini started to change his political views, and from far left winger, he became far right winger.
