The Nile River has always been extremely important for the survival of the people in Egypt, so most of the things are based around it.

It is the only river in the country, which also makes it the only freshwater source, thus the water is used for drinking.

All of the agriculture in Egypt is around the banks of the Nile, and the river is used for irrigation in the agriculture.

Since the Nile goes through all of the territory of Egypt in a south-north direction, and also it is a large and navigable river, it is used for transportation of goods and products.

The Nile is heavily use for traveling as well, be it by the locals or for tourism purposes.

The river is very rich with fish, so it used a lot of fishing.
