The MAIN-BIG idea of the Bill of Rights was to ensure the people of their rights in their new country. Laws were created to ensure that Kings and Queens would not take over and rule. They were also promised to have a voice and a say in this young country. And last but not least, they were given freedom to believe in what they wanted, to speak what was their opinions, and to get together with whoever they wanted.
