Lands in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Delaware, south Carolina and Ohio were areas that their lands were part of the open range.

    Explanation:

open range is a range of land in the which cattle roam freely regardless of land ownership, this kind of lands are found in the western states of the USA many western states of the USA had open range laws to guide the open range. the open range laws allowed the owner of the cattle to be free from any responsibility arising from his cattle grazing on a land without the consent of the land owner and as urbanization increased many states kicked againt it and opted for "closed range"
