This statement Mali was socially, politically, and economically similar to Ghana, however, it was much smaller than Ghana is false.

Although both the empires are very much similar to each other, but the fact cannot be denied that Mali is far larger and prosperous country as compared to Ghana. Both the empires show similarities in terms of religious and economic matters. Economically Mali has great significance in trade than Ghana.
