After the end of Vietnam War communism was established in the country as a leading ideology. Not only that, but Vietnam tried to spread communism outside their borders, thus trying to strengthen its influence in the region. At the end they failed.

    Explanation:

Eisenhower's domino theory was widely accepted in United States. He believed that communism will spread like a disease, if not to be stopped. That is why States engaged in the Vietnam War among other things. They were afraid that communism will spread outside Vietnam if not to be stopped.
