    Legislative power

    Explanation:

The Articles of Confederation were the first American Constitution and they were replaced by the current Constitution because they carried a series of problems and weakness.

The main reason for that is that the States feared a too strong central government. To do so, they gave more power to the States.

The Legislative Power of the Central Government was very weak and did not have much power. Congress had only one chamber and each state had one vote, which gave more power to the States even when this power was not good for the nation's interests.

Also, Congress needed 9 of the 13 states to pass any law, this is also called supermajority which eventually made almost impossible to pass any legislation.
