Industrial revolution was brought about by the large expansions of coal, steel, and electricity. Pretty much big plants would take advantage of the cheap coal cost to make heavy products that led to the efficiency of consumerism. Also the invention of replaceable parts and the factory line led to increased production that resulted in a boom in the development of products, increased lifespan of individuals, and overall increase in the products.
