    Kennedy's foreign policy was mainly all about his Administration continued confrontation with the Soviet Union.

    This was very visible and it manifested by the global state of tension and conflict known as the Cold War.

    Kennedy followed in the footsteps of his predecessors. He adopted policies which necessitated and facilitated the reduced spread of Communism as communism was a major threat to the big Western powers.
