Europeans managed to covert many Natives to Christianity and in the process wiped out most of native cultures.

    Explanation:

The relationship between European settlers and the natives was one of continued struggle and plight on the native side as the settlers systematically killed and took over the lands of the native tribes in their bid of westward extension of territory.

This was also accompanied by their willingness to assimilate the native cultures into westernization of their ideas and their religion which they were largely successful in by force.
