Expulsion from service and not authorized to continue at any other Federal job is the right answer.

The "Constitution of America defines impeachment at the National level and restricts it to the President, Vice - President, and all the Civil Officers" of the United States of America. It further states that any of these may be impeached and expelled from their services only for "bribery, treason and misconducts." Hence, the punishment that can be imposed on any person who has been impeached is his Elimination from Office and that he would not be allowed to hold another federal post.
